Sassicaia 1993 is a collectible fine wine from Tuscany, Italy. It is bottled in 1500 ml and ideal for serious collectors and top-level cellars.
The 1993 Sassicaia is comparatively deep in colour with lifted black fruit, cedar, a touch of cooked meat and palpable minerality, a bouquet that stretches its arms with continued aeration. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry: a filigree lattice of tannin, good depth and structure with bright red cherry fruit and candied orange peel dancing across the citrus fresh that segues into a touch of biscuit on the aftertaste. This is drinking beautifully now.
