Port Ellen 8th Release 29 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a fine Islay single malt from Scotland, produced by Port Ellen. It offers mature complexity and character, ideal for collectors and serious whisky lovers.

The eighth release of Diageo’s Port Ellens is the fourth from 1978 and arrives in slightly tweaked packaging with a new box design, although the label remains largely the same. From Diageo’s 2008 Special Releases comes a 29 year old single malt from the legendary Port Ellen distillery, which was distilled in 1978. It was drawn from American and European oak casks and bottled at 55.3% ABV, resulting in 6,618 bottles. As ever, this is an incredibly collectible bottle from a sorely missed distillery on Islay.
